Pinoy Big Brother: Otso housemates Tan Roncal, Argel Saycon, Gian Wang, Abi Kassem, Reign Parani, Yen Quirante, and Jelay Pilones were reunited XTREME’s launch event on Tuesday, February 22.
Pinoy Big Brother: Otso is the eighth main season of Pinoy Big Brother, which premiered on November 10, 2018, and ended on August 4, 2019, on ABS-CBN.
The former PBB housemates said they were “happy” and “thankful” for XTREME as the event paved the way for their reunion.
They also promoted their upcoming shows in ABS-CBN. All of them are currently active in showbiz.
Kassem is set to be part of the upcoming Darna series, which stars Jane De Leon. She was known for her roles in Maalaala Mo Kaya (2021) and Love Thy Woman (2020). She was an Adult Housemate in the Second Batch of Pinoy Big Brother 8.
She said, “Sana abangan niyo yung Darna. Malapit na malapit na ang Darna sana abangan niyo po.”
Parani was part of Maalaala Mo Kaya’s episode titled Angel of Mine, which aired on Saturday, February 12. She also encouraged everyone to watch the upcoming Sleep with Me series. She appeared in the 2019 series Sandugo. She was a housemate on Batch 1 of Pinoy Big Brother 8.
Parani shared, “Napalabas na po siya pero sana mapanood niyo po ulit ang MMK Angel of Mine and of course, Sleep with Me series coming soon.”
Quirante said she had an appearance in an episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya.. She asked everyone watch their livestreams on Kumu app.
Quirante said, “Sana abangan niyo po ang MMK namin nagli-livestream din po kami sa Kumu.”
Pilones shared she will have a guesting on ASAP Natin To on Sunday, March 6. She was also given a role in Love in 40 Days, Loisa Andalio, and Ronnie Alonte’s upcoming series. She appeared in He’s Into Her (2021).
Pilones revealed, “Abangan niyo po ako sa March 6 nasa ASAP po ako. Abangan niyo rin po ang Love in 40 Days. Ang bida po dito si Loiza and Ronie so thank you guys.”
Roncal will join Pilones in Love in 40 Days series. He was also part of MMK’s Angel of Mine, which included Parani. He became one of the finalists of the ABS-CBN reality shows Pinoy Big Brother – Otso batch 3. In 2021, Rocal signed up to be a talent of Rise Artists Studio, a unit of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
Roncal shared, “Abangan niyo po ako sa Love in 40 Days din. Kasama namin dun si Ronie at si Loiza Andalio. Sana mapanood niyo rin po ang MMK Angel of Mine kasama ko doon si Kit Thompson and Jane Oineza.”
Saycon said he is also part of the Darna series along with Kassem. Before entering PBB, he joined and won the male pageant Gentlemen of the Philippines Teen International in 2017.
Saycon stated, “Napasama rin po ako sa Darna.”
Wang promoted the song Can’t Get Out, written by Jem Macatuno. He said the song is now out on YouTube.
Wang said, “Sa akin naman guys kung nakasubaybay kayo ng PBB, yung Can’t Get Out na sinulat ni Jem Macatuno mapapanuod niyo po yan sa YouTube.”
