On March 18, Former PBB Housemate KD Estrada and BGYO Member Akira Morishita shared their experiences working with Francine Diaz at the media conference for the iWantTFC original Bola Bola.
Estrada confessed he felt shy working with Diaz because of her years in showbiz.
“Nahihiya, si Francine, she’s been here since– basta ang tagal niya. She’s very experienced din. Of course, di rin maiiwasan ‘yung hiya when you’re working with a seasoned actress or actor talaga. Luckily, Francine is very nice and she’s very friendly po. The scene came very natural, after a few takes.”
Morishita revealed that Diaz helped him set up adlib scenes in the series.
“For example, mayroong eksena, tapos after po lahat ng lines nag-aadlib po siya. Ganto mag-aadlib ako ha sumakay ka lang. Ganon. Mayroon din po akong paboritong eksena din po talaga ni Francine. ‘Yung parang kinukuha ko po ‘yung phone na hawak niya. Kahit ako po nagulat na, ‘ay bakit ayaw niya ibigay.’ And totally adlib po ‘yun.”
Estrada also shared some of his experiences working in adlib scenes with Diaz.
“Sa totoo lang, lahat ng kalokohan after the scenes, ‘yung mga fun moments doon sa trailer she like threw a chip at my face. Actually that was adlib. Francine made the work easy, she made it fun and I am thankful na lang. Thankfully, I got to work sa mga ka-age ko.”
Morishita expressed his gratitude for working with Diaz and Estrada in the series.
“Sobrang thankful din po kasi nga po nabigyan niya po ang tagal na n’ya sa industriya tapos nabigyan n’ya po ako ng tips. Naalalayan n’ya po ako sa pag-acting. Nakakatuwa rin po siya sa pag trabaho na kahit po may pagka-corny rin po ‘yung mga jokes niya, nakakatawa pa rin po.”
Diaz, Morishita, and Estrada, alongside Ashton Salvador, star in the iWantTFC original series based on Anna Geronga’s best-selling love romance, Bola Bola.
The digital series based on also include Analain Salvador, Danica Ontengco, Vance Larena, J-Mee Katanyag, and Arlene Muhlach.
