The Women’s Month celebration continues on Cinema One as the cable channel showcases the many facets of women and their unique gifts through Kathryn Bernardo-led movies.

Here are five girl roles with goals proving that Pinays know how to strive for what they want and are proud of their true selves:

1. A DAUGHTER WHO FIGHTS FOR HER FAMILY IN “THREE WORDS TO FOREVER”

Kathryn is joined by no less than the Megastar Sharon Cuneta in “Three Words to Forever,” a family movie that narrates the journey of Tin (Kathryn) as she explores the idea of marriage and fights for her family, while her mother Cristy (Sharon) re-examines her 25-year wifehood with husband Rick (Richard Gomez).

2. A LOVING AND FORGIVING SISTER IN “WAY BACK HOME”

Jessica, played by Julia Montes, and Joanna/Anna (Kathryn) are long-lost sisters in “Way Back Home,” who struggle with a childhood incident that changed their lives and now face the challenge of finding their way back home—through forgiveness and love.

3. A WOMAN WHO KNOWS WHAT SHE WANTS IN “CAN’T HELP FALLING IN LOVE”

Kathryn is Gab in “Can’t Help Falling In Love” who got married to Dos (Daniel Padilla) by accident. She then seeks annulment to be able to marry her boyfriend and takes on an exciting journey with Dos to achieve what she really wants.

4. A BOYISH ADOLESCENT-TURNED-BLOOMING TEEN IN “MUST BE LOVE”

As a boyish teenage girl named Patchot (Kathryn) who was raised by his dad and brothers, she struggles to be seen as a young lady with feelings, too, especially with Ivan (Daniel) who only sees her as his best friend. Recognizing her desire to be loved in return, Patchot transformed into a beautiful girl who is ready to win his best friend over.

5. A FREE-SPIRITED LASS WHO HAS A GOOD HEART IN “CRAZY BEAUTIFUL YOU”

Jackie (Kathryn) is a rebellious young lady who is forced to participate in a medical mission in Tarlac in hopes that she would become a better person. She meets a jolly lad named Kiko (Daniel) who will make sure she gets all her tasks done. In the middle of this journey, Jackie unexpectedly discovers something bizarre and truly beautiful.

Catch “Three Words to Forever” on Monday (March 21), “Way Back Home” on Tuesday (March 22), “Can’t Help Falling In Love” on Wednesday (March 23), “Must Be Love” on Thursday (March 24), and “Crazy Beautiful You” on March 25 (Friday), 7 pm on Cinema One’s Star Cinema Primetime block.

Pinay power continues to dominate the channel with “No Other Woman” starring Anne Curtis and Cristine Reyes on March 28 (Monday), “One More Try” with Angel Locsin and Angelica Panganiban on March 29 (Tuesday), “Sin Island” starring Coleen Garcia on March 30 (Wednesday), and “Kasal” with Bea Alonzo on March 31 (Thursday) also on Star Cinema Primetime.

Be inspired by these movies on Cinema One this Women’s Month. Cinema One is available on Cignal ch. 45, SKYcable ch. 56, and other local cable service providers. For more information, follow Cinema One on Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.
