Kapamilya loveteam Karina Bautista and Aljon Mendoza discussed on March 15, the possibility of working with different on-screen partners at the media conference for Bida Star Singer.
Mendoza said he isn’t closing the possibility that they would have different on-screen partners in the future.
“Kami naman, open naman po kami doon palagi. Di naman namin kino-close ‘yung possibility na mangyayari ‘yun. Pero kasi naman, ‘yun nga open naman kami suportado naman namin at may tiwala kami sa management. Sa Rise, sa Star Cinema, sa Star Hunt, kung anong plano sa amin, alam naman namin na ‘yun ‘yung best para sa aming dalawa.”
Bautista highlighted the connection she and Mendoza built as actors, noting that they’re ready to try new things and step out of their comfort zones.
“Yes open naman po ako, and I’m happy Aljon is open as well. Siguro open kami kasi ‘yun nga, we’ve been together for so long, and I think it’s time to venture out and try new things, explore acting capabilities, and step out of our comfort zone.”
However, she clarified they’re enjoying working with each other in the meantime.
“Let see, pero hindi namin pinapangunahan. Kung ano man mayroon kami ngayon, ine-enjoy namin ‘yun.”
Bautista and Mendoza return to host ABS-CBN’s online talent competition, Bida Star Singer, as they search for the next online singing sensation. Joining them is Pinoy Big Brother alumna, Anji Salvacion.
