The secret is out! All hell broke loose in the most-awaited confrontation dinner scene in “The Broken Marriage Vow” as Jill (Jodi Sta. Maria) dropped one bombshell revelation after another – giving her husband David (Zanjoe Marudo) and his mistress Lexy (Sue Ramirez) the shock of their lives.
Jill is done playing the victim as she ruthlessly exposed David and Lexy’s two-year affair to Lexy’s parents, and even revealed that their daughter flew to another country to secretly get an abortion.
The explosive scene was raved about on social media with the hashtag #TBMVPasabogReveal rising to the number three spot of trending topics on Twitter Philippines.
“This is more than a promising moment for The Broken Marriage Vow. what an outstanding scene! so wow! Jodi’s acting is superb… she proves to everyone that she is the new drama queen of primetime #TBMVPasabogReveal,” shared @adore_kc on Twitter.
“Nung inannounce palang itong adaptation na ‘to, this is the scene that I’ve been waiting for. And ABS-CBN didn’t disappoint. Ang galing,” said @luvPATE.
“Grabeeee ang intense ng episode na ‘to. Never imagined that ABS-CBN would make a superb adaptation of Doctor Foster. I have no words but perfection!,” tweeted @KingCeasarXIX.
Before this, an uneasy David and Lexy tried to prevent Jill from spilling their dirty secrets. However, Lexy lashed out at Jill as chaos began to ensue, leaving Lexy’s parents in utter disbelief. Lexy has no remorse whatsoever as she insists that she sincerely loves David. Matters will get even more complicated as it was also revealed that Lexy never pushed through with her abortion and she is indeed still pregnant with David’s baby.
David, meanwhile, initially begged Jill for another chance but ultimately chose Lexy over his wife. Jill’s explosive revelations are just the beginning of her revenge as she vows to gain back the dignity she believes was taken away from her because of David’s infidelity. What else does Jill have planned against David and Lexy? How will David explain his affair to his son Gio (Zaijian Jaranilla)?
