The pandemic had Kapuso star Jeric Gonzales turn to his family for strength to fend off anxiety attacks, Tuesday, March 15.
In the virtual media conference for his latest single Hihintayin Kita, Gonzales said, “Ito yung na-realize ko sa pandemic during the time na busy tayo, may trabaho tayo, parang wala tayong time sa pamilya natin and hindi natin sila nabibigyan ng love na talagang naibigay natin ngayong pandemic na magkasama tayo, may bonding tayo.”
He said he gave his utmost attention to his family and, at the same time, kept himself fit and healthy.
“While spending time with my family of course, hindi pinapabayaan yung… exercise, para hindi mawala sa shape ang katawan, music pa rin, and then nanunuod ng mga movies, films, ganoon.”
During the presscon, the singer-actor “admitted” that only his family, work, and GMA Network were his source of happiness.
“Kung merong nagpapasaya sa akin, itong family ko, itong work, and yung opportunity na binibigay sa akin ng GMA palagi. Hindi nila ako pinapabayaan talaga,” he admitted.
But recently, beauty queen-turned-actress Rabiya Mateo revealed her relationship with Gonzales. Apparently, the couple has already been together for quite some time, with them already celebrating their monthsary on March 17.

The two also exchanged “I love yous” on Instagram.
Prior to the revelation, rumors started as early as December 2021, with them being spotted in the Enchanted Kingdom and by a beach in an unknown location.
By February, Mateo hinted that a person with the initials “J” had been her priority first thing in the morning, making the rumors even stronger.
In the meantime, the Ilongga beauty queen stars alongside Sen. Bong Revilla and Sanya Lopez in the second season of Agimat ng Agila. On the other hand, Gonzales is busy with the adaptation of the hit Korean series Start-Up.
