Janine Gutierrez shared that she will always care for her ex-boyfriend Rayver Cruz.
Gutierrez and Cruz were together for about four years before they called it quits in November 2021.
Recently, Cruz is linked with Kapuso singer Julie Anne Santos.
According to Bandera, when Gutierrez was asked about her reaction to the Rayver-Julie match-up, the actress said that she only wishes for the happiness of her ex-boyfriend.
“Whatever makes him happy, I just want him happy always talaga. I’m always gonna care about him.
“Hindi pa kami nagkikita uli, pero okay naman kami. I always wish him the best and I’m always rooting for him talaga,” she said.
Currently, Gutierrez is being linked to her Marry Me Marry You co-star Paulo Avelino.
When asked about her closeness with the actor, Gutierrez said about Avelino, “Well, I’m happy that we are close. We have always been close naman.
“Mas naging close lang kami after ng teleserye and after working together sa ABS.”
She also gave a vague answer when asked if Avelino is courting her.
“We super get along with each other. We’ll see what will happen. Siya na lang tanungin ninyo, but I really enjoy spending time with him and talking to him.”
