Jake Ejercito expressed his support to the presidential bid of Leni Robredo as he joined the Leni-Kiko’s campaign rally in Pasig City on March 20.
Ejercito, the son of former President Joseph Estrada, posted on Instagram on March 20 and explained that it was his first time to attend a campaign rally where his family members were not involved.
“Was too hesitant to hug her to thank her for running and to somehow give her more courage to fight on, but she surprisingly gave it first and I felt so much hope and reassurance in return.
“‘Twas my first time attending a political rally wherein none of my relatives were involved. But it ain’t about colours for me; it’s about being Filipino,” he said.

He implied that he is simply fighting for the sake of the Filipinos.
He then endorsed Leni Robredo saying that she should be the one to lead the people.
“No hero-worship here, but candidates who are as genuine, as qualified, and as capable as her don’t come around too often. Let’s not waste this rare opportunity to let someone like her lead.”
Reportedly, the campaign rally in Pasig had more than 130k attendees. Robi Domingo and Julia Barretto hosted the rally along with Melai Cantiveros-Francisco and Jolina Magdangal.
Rivermaya, Itchyworms, and Ben&Ben even performed for the attendees.
Jake Ejercito is vocal in his support for VP Leni Robredo despite having a different brother, Jinggoy Estrada has a different presidential bet.
