Paid Performer (PP) on Wednesday, March 30, confessed that they got paid a large sum of money to perform in political rallies of a Presidential Aspirant (PA).
In a conversation, a Production Staff (PS) asked PP the reason for taking the job, and the latter explained that it was all for money’s sake.
PP also stressed that it was “just for show” and does not amount to supporting the PA, adding that their contracts indicated [clearly] that they were only there to perform and not to endorse.
PS understood why PP chose to perform at PA’s events to make ends meet.
PP thanked PP, but before their conversation ended, PS pointed out that the source of the talent fee may be from stealing–given that PA’s family has a history of being corrupt.
This confession refuted the claim of the PP’s Fellow Performer (FP)–that celebrities on another presidential bet were “obviously paid.”
FP was also very confident, staking her feet to prove her point.
The assertion from FP got contradicted by another performer who also reasoned out that it was only for monetary gain.
