Sineneng said that Widow’s Web is one of the best scripts that he has ever directed and he is thankful that he was given this opportunity by GMA Network.
“This is one of the best scripts I have ever directed. Gustong-gusto ko talaga itong materyal na ‘to. This is really one of the best written shows I have ever directed and I am so happy and proud talaga. Lahat sila sa cast, mahuhusay. I’d like to thank GMA for giving me this cast kasi sobrang sarap katrabaho, sobrang gaan at sobrang gagaling. Makikita niyo naman po pag napanuod niyo na yung mga shows, ang galing galing nila.”
This series features stories of four ladies whose lives got meshed up after the death of Xander (Ryan Eigenmann). Three of them are the suspects: Xander’s sister Barbara (Carmina Villarroel), his wife Jackie (Ashley Ortega), and Jackie’s friend Hillary (Vaness Del Moral).
While Elaine (Pauline Mendoza) entered the story to investigate the crime as her boyfriend Frank (Edgar Allan Guzman) was wrongly accused and convicted.
The pilot episode of Widow’s Web introduced the characters of Elaine and Frank and they have crossed paths with Barbara, Jackie, and Xander.
Widow’s Web will show how Xander’s death affected the lives of these ladies and eventually reveal the real suspect behind the crime.
