The back-to-back tandem of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and The Broken Marriage Vow recorded excellent ratings recently.
This Kapamilya tandem remains a winner for the primetime lineup as they are top-rated.
On March 7, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned an 11.1% rating, securing the third spot on the rating chart, while The Broken Marriage Vow ranked 5th with an 8.7% rating.
The following day, both shows improved their ratings and remained in their respective spots.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano earned a 12.0 rating, while The Broken Marriage Vow earned a 9.0% rating, only 0.2% behind its rival program, The Widow’s Web.
TBMV received the highest TV rating for a Kapamilya show in a second primetime slot since ABS-CBN’s closure in 2020.
On the same day, The Broken Marriage Vow repeated the record of its fellow Kapamilya series Huwag Kang Mangamba which got set on November 19, 2021, during its finale week. It also surpassed 130,000 concurrent viewers online.
This high rating happened because of its most-awaited dinner scene, where Dr. Jill revealed the affair of her husband and Lexi.
On March 9, The Broken Marriage Vow dropped to the 6th spot with an 8.2% rating, while FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is solid in its 3rd spot with an 11.6% rating.
The Broken Marriage Vow improved its rating to 8.4% the following day and returned to the 5th spot. FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remained in the 3rd spot even though it dropped to an 11.2% rating.
The week ended with FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano still in the #3 spot with a 10.4% rating, while The Broken Marriage Vow settled in the 6th spot with 7.9%.
Despite the Kapamilya program’s limited reach compared to GMA Network, these ratings are an achievement since their programs can still compete on free TV despite the gap in audience reach.
