Since his last big-screen project three years ago, It’s Showtime host Vice Ganda has hinted that he will be having a movie comeback.
On March 11, Vice teased that he was already preparing to be back on the big screens.
“Ang lalaki ng galaw n’yo, ha, pang big screen!” Vice laughingly said.
“Gusto niya kasi magka-movie tayong tatlo,” Vhong Navarro said to Ogie Alcasid.
“Porke’t nalaman n’yong may meeting ako sa Star Cinema kahapon, ha!” Vice revealed.
Navarro said humorously that Alcasid would be a perfect replacement for Vice’s usual movie sidekicks.
The comedian host stated that he felt Alcasid would be his new lucky charm, even if he told them that he was already in the course of casting for a movie.
“Actually, ito, walang halong kiyeme, ha. Noong nagka-casting kami kagabi, nag-iisip kami… Sabi ko, ‘Feeling ko, lucky charm ko now si Ogie Alcasid.’ Sabi ko ‘yun sa kanila.
“Kasi kami talaga ni Vhong ‘yun, kaya sabi ko isama si Ogie, kasi parang lucky charm ko,” Vice shared.

Vice’s last big-screen project was the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival entry titled The Mall, The Merrier. The said film starred his fellow It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis.
