Directors Darryl Yap and Rod Singh seemed to have been battling out who has the better satirical videos Friday, March 18.
Previously, Yap released a series of videos to ridicule incumbent Vice President and presidential candidate Leni Robredo. In retaliation, Singh had his own take against the former’s bet, Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
He starred internet sensation Pipay Kipay and social media personalities Renz Saavedra and Gaia Polyhymnia in a short film titled Blengblong and Friends.

The clip, which was 2 minutes and 14 seconds long, lambasted Marcos for his continuous absences in presidential debates and interviews.
A netizen supporting Yap then clapped back at Singh, saying that the Vincentements’ series The Exorcism of Len-Len Rose was far more successful.

This prompted Singh to respond that he has won an award and millions of views on the Internet, unlike Yap.
“Daryl mo walang award. Alam ko na susunod mong sasabihin. Million views? May gano’n din ako. Pero may award.”

In the meantime, Pipay was once again a star of another satirical video from LGBTQIA+ for Leni titled Team FAQ U, wherein he portrayed the “leader of the trolls.” He was seen answering the frequently asked questions of his subordinates.
There was an instance where the social media star lost patience as he said, “Dito kasi sa amin, ‘pag hindi ka makasagot, murahin mo na lang. Hindi uubra yung respect mo yung opinion kasi magmumukha kaming tanga.”
He also stressed that “unity” would always be the answer to every argument that critics would throw them.
Marcos, president of the UniTeam alliance, always emphasized “unity” in every one of his political campaigns.
