Dawn Chang called out those with high political positions who continue to engage in wrongdoings.
In her Tweet on March 6, the dancer-host expressed her worries for the Philippines if ever the country were to have a crooked leader.
She then noted that people should be respected for fighting for their rights to elect a trusted leader.

Her statement came after Cavite 7th District Rep. Jesus Crispin Remulla claimed that people who attended Leni-Kiko’s campaign rally in General Trias, Cavite, on March 4 were paid.
Remulas’s statement then received backlash from netizens, including Dawn.
The hashtag #HindiKamiBayad trended online as Leni’s supporters, commonly known as Kakapminks, denied the claims that they were paid to show their support.
Dawn also shared the hashtag on Twitter.
