Engaged couple filmmakers Antoinette Jadaone and Dan Villegas admitted they tend to fight when working together on a project because both of them possess strong personalities.
In the virtual media conference of the Vivamax original series The Seniors, they produced through their production company Project 8, Jadaone believed that their zodiac signs have something to do with it.
“Sobrang magkaiba kami ni Dan kasi Aries ako tapos Virgo siya. So madalas, pinag-aawayan namin lahat, hahaha!” she shared.
A Virgo is considered to be an uptight person that seeks perfection while Aries is known to pursue their goals with passion.
Luckily for them, they have Reign Anne De Guzman to act as a mediator whenever the two of them have disputes.
“Pero ang okay sa Project 8 is tatlo talaga kaming decision-maker. So our other producer is Reign De Guzman. So para siyang si Bernardo Carpio, siya yung swing vote, siya yung nagre-resolve ng mga pag-aaway,” pointed out Jadaone.
Her fiancé likewise agreed that in terms of creative processing, they are like “cats and dogs.”
“Tonette kasi is very spontaneous. At ayun nga sa aking zodiac, OC (obsessive-compulsive) daw ako, kailangang lahat nakaplano. So ganoon aspect palang, business decisions tend to fight each other. So kailangan namin nang balance. A good thing is we have Reign to balance things out kapag may impasse. So okay naman,” Villegas explained.
In the meantime, the couple is yet to reveal when is the big day. According to Jadaone, the pandemic has made them consider other important things to attend to rather than focusing on the wedding.
“‘Pag wala na pong pandemic! Hahaha! Kapag meron na pong pera. Marami pa pong mas dapat pagkagastusan at pagkaabalahan.”
The Seniors is under the direction of fellow Project 8 director Shaira Advincula. It stars Julia Barretto, Ella Cruz, Awra Briguela, and newcomer Andrea Babierra.
The original series is set to stream on Vivamax this March 20.
