On March 9, Kapuso artist Bianca Umali detailed the difficulties she faced portraying a comedic role in the media conference for Mano Po Legacy: Her Big Boss.
Umali said she found it challenging to portray a comedic role, especially with her background in dramatic acting.
She added that it took more effort for her to do a comedic role versus a dramatic role.
Kumbaga iba siya, ibang klase ng hirap, ibang klase ng challenge, it’s not less of an effort sa pag-arte. It’s actually the same or for more, it actually more compared to doing a project that is drama or heavy drama.”
Because of her experience, Umali had more respect for comedians like her Mano Po Legacy co-star Pokwang.
