On Monday, March 14, actress Angelica Panganiban commented on the Instagram post of news website Rappler questioning how presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is still leading the surveys.
BBM still leads the February poll of Pulse Asia after his disqualification petitions were dismissed. The month also covers the questionable delaying of the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) of its decision regarding the cases filed against the former senator.
It was also the time that Marcos Jr. finally appeared in a presidential forum that was organized by the TV network of FBI’s Most Wanted, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, Sonshine Media Network International (SMNI).
The survey said that 60% of its respondents favored the former senator.
Meanwhile, Panganiban was seen commenting, “Talaga buh?” as if she was questioning the credibility of the survey.
The actress was talked of the town this election season after she starred in a series of political campaigns with an intent to spread awareness to the public not to vote the “corrupt.”
She also went viral for her incredible ‘hugot’ line that turned into a piece of political advice.
“Kaya yung eleksyon sa May 2022, ingat-ingat sa mga tao. Kilatising mabuti ang mga manliligaw. Halughugin ang bio data mula High School hanggang College. Alamin at tingnan ang character references.
“‘Wag magpapabudol at ‘wag sa magnanakaw!”
In the meantime, based on the Pulse Asia survey, Vice President Leni Robredo only garnered 15% votes from the respondents.
She was also in a similar position back in 2016 during the vice-presidential run wherein she defeated Marcos Jr., not once, but three times.
