On Friday, March 11, Albie Casiño admitted that it was wrong not to shave while filming his erotic film Moonlight Butterfly.
The reason is that his plaster became a challenge for him to remove and put on.
“Definitely yung plaster yung pinakamahirap talaga sa lahat, hahaha. Especially taking it off, putting it on. First time ko kasing kailangan magsuot ng plaster so doon talaga ako nahirapan. Masakit siyang tanggaling man, like masakit siyang tanggalin,” he shared during the film’s virtual media conference.
“Masakit po, sobra. Alam mo na po. It hurt man!” he added.
He learned his lesson to shave whenever he gets another project similar to what he is currently working on.
“Next time na lang po, sa susunod na lang. At least ‘di ba? You live and you learn. Nagkamali ako.”
Casiño, who plays Emilio, the boyfriend of Eunice (Christine Bermas), the hottest G.R.O in Los Angeles, Pampanga, said that lust is essential to make intimate scenes life-like.
“Bilang artista, feeling ko, especially kung intimate yung scene, kailangan mo yung libog eh, like it’s part of it. Hindi naman kami nagkukunwari dito eh. When we’re doing scenes ‘di ba? We really put ourselves into the situation, talagang ginagawa namin ‘yan. So I used it. Ginagamit ko na lang siguro yung libog sa eksena,” the actor explained.
The movie also includes Kit Thompson, who plays an American guy named Elliot. He becomes the thorn in Emilio and Eunice’s relationship.
Moonlight Butterfly is helmed by filmmaker Joel Lamangan and will be available for streaming starting March 18.
