On Monday, March 14, Multimedia Princess and actress Nadine Lustre finally revealed the presidential aspirant she supports.
Previously, she, along with actress Heart Evangelista was rumored to be ‘Kakampinks,’ or what Vice President Leni Robredo’s followers call themselves.
In a virtual interview, Lustre then admitted the obvious as she said, “Before I say it… Hindi ko na patatagalin pa, alam naman ng lahat na Team Pink din ako.”
The actress also cited the reason as to why her vote is to Robredo and her running-mate Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.
According to Lustre–the one who deserves to get elected is a candidate who has a good track record and has noticeable care for the country and its citizens.
“Kasi you know, if we’re gonna vote for someone who’s corrupt, who has, like a dirty record, ang ending kasi niyan, marami ding gagaya. You get what I mean? So kung ang iboboto natin is malinis, walang dayaan, walang magkukupitan, ‘di ba? Yun lang naman ang gusto nating lahat at the end of the day. Na maging patas, maging maayos, tsaka maging maganda yung buhay ng mga Pilipino.”
A mural of the Leni-Kiko tandem painted outside of their Volunteer Center in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City, was featured by Lustre via her Instagram story on January 20.
In an Instagram post of singer Mito Fabie, popularly known as Curtismith–it showed his performance in the grand rally of Robredo in Bacolod, Negrod Occidental–Lustre commented with a heart emoji as well as a pink shirt as a sign of support to the presidential aspirant.
Meanwhile, she makes a comeback in acting via her upcoming Vivamax movie Greed.
It tells the story of a rural couple whose life gets endangered after winning the lottery.
The film also stars Diego Loyzaga and Epy Quizon. The esteemed filmmaker Yam Laranas directs it.
Catch the movie streaming on Vivamax on March 16.
