The Kapuso news program 24 Oras is unshakable as the most-watched TV program nationwide!
On February 21 and 22, 24 Oras earned record-high ratings of 17.0% and 18.1%, respectively.
From February 28 to March 4, the news show settled to its usual 15%-16% rating range. Despite the drop in ratings, it remained the #1 program nationwide throughout the week.
On February 28, 24 Oras scored 16.6% with a 1.9% lead against Kapuso series First Lady. Its rival ABS-CBN news program TV Patrol only earned 3.1% and ranked 18th.
The following day, 24 Oras hit its lowest rating for the week. It dropped its rating to 15.0% so, First Lady came closer with a 14.0% rating. TV Patrol remained in the 18th spot with 3.5%.
On March 2, the gap between 24 Oras and First Lady went up to 1.4% as the former earned a 15.2% rating. TV Patrol dropped its rating to 3.0% but climbed to the 16th spot.
On March 3, 24 Oras earned a 15.8% rating, widening its gap against First Lady to 1.8%. TV Patrol failed to enter the chart that day. It only earned a rating lower than 2.8%.
On March 4, 24 Oras achieved a 16.0% rating and even widened its gap against First Lady to 2.6%. TV Patrol again failed to enter the chart.
Since the exit of ABS-CBN, the competition in free TV has laid low. Considering its wider audience reach, GMA Network has dominated free TV. 24 Oras has been consistent as the Most-Watched program nationwide.
