On Friday, February 11, Willie Revillame will play a big role in the talent and staff acquisition of the All Media Broadcasting System (AMBS) owned by business mogul Manny Villar.
The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) awarded AMBS the frequencies previously occupied by the Lopez-owned network.
Meanwhile, the host will have his contract with GMA Network be expired this coming February 22.
Revillame, through his team, was “contacted” by those wanting to be part of the upcoming broadcasting network.
On the other hand, he already met with celebrity couple Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez, who inquired about Anthony Taberna’s contract expiration with the radio station DZRH.
There is a big possibility that former ABS-CBN talents and employees may have reached out to the TV host for possible jobs at AMBS since it aims to provide a source of livelihood to Filipinos in this pandemic.
One of Revillame’s close friends shared that those who were severely affected by the Kapamilya Network’s shutdown were more than “welcome to apply.”Â
An estimated 11,000 employees got displaced after it shut down amid the pandemic.
There is also a chance that the former Kapamilya TV host Toni Gonzaga might go next to AMBS; after she resigned as the host of the reality show Pinoy Big Brother.Â
In the meantime, Revillame has yet to reveal his role in AMBS, but given his rich history of hosting games and public service programs like Wowowee, Wowowin, and such, there is a big chance that he will be doing the same in the network.
