Vaness Del Moral, a Kapuso artist on February 17, admitted feeling nervous about her comeback role in Widows’ Web.
During the media conference for GMA Network’s first-ever suspense-serye, Del Moral said she had doubts about returning to acting as a lead actress.
Kaya mo ‘yan. Hindi naman ibibigay sayo ‘to kung hindi naniniwala sayo ang network at tsaka ‘yung mga taong nag-create nitong show na ‘to.'”
In October 2020, Del Moral surprised her husband, Matt Kier, by announcing her pregnancy with their first child.
She then thanked her co-actors and directors, Jerry Lopez-Sineneng and Phillip Lazaro, for helping her with her role.
“So noong tinanggap ko siya at ng mag-reading, sobrang kabadong-kabado ako pero thanks to Direk Jerry, Direk Phillip, and all the other cast parang hindi ako matagal nawala.”
Del Moral also highlighted how the creative team ensured that every character in the teleserye had their moment.
“Lahat ng character may kanya-kanyang moments. ‘Yung show na ‘to Widows’ Web, walang character na tapon. Lahat pantay-pantay, lahat umaangat sabay sabay.
Kailangan nandoon lahat.”
As for her role, Del Moral confessed that she adopted some character traits from the series in real life.
Del Moral stars in Widows’ Web alongside Carmina Villaroel, Ashley Ortega, and Pauline Mendoza.
GMA Network’s first suspense-serye also boasts a star-studded supporting cast with Ryan Eigenmann, Adrian Alandy, Edgar Allan Poe, Bernard Palanca, Arthur Solinap, Christian Vasquez, Allan Paule, Mosang, Tanya Gomez, Neil Coleta, Mike Agassi, Karenina Haniel, Dave Bornea, Anjay Anson, and Vanessa Pena.
Directed by Jerry Lopez-Sineneng and Phillip Lazaro, the series premieres on February 28, 2022, via GMA Telebabad.
