The return of ‘TV Patrol’ to free TV paved the way for the show’s increase in ratings and inclusion in the AGB Nielsen rating chart.
On January 3, ‘TV Patrol’ returned to free TV via the A2Z channel. It struggled to maintain its position in the rating during its first few weeks of airing.
From being excluded in the rating chart, ‘TV Patrol’ now became a consistent part of the Top 20 Most-Watched Programs list of AGB Nielsen.
On February 7, ‘TV Patrol’ earned a 3.2% rating, ranking 17th in the leaderboards.
Its rating dropped by 0.2% the following day, but it maintained its position, tied with ‘Saksi’ and ‘Kapuso Movie Festival.’
On February 9, ‘TV Patrol’ again maintained its rank and increased its rating to 3.3%.
The ratings of ‘TV Patrol’ are far off the ratings of its rival show, ’24 Oras’, the Most-Watched Program nationwide. This is because of the huge difference in their network’s audience reach.
Despite this, ‘TV Patrol’ remains a winner in online views. On YouTube, from February 7-9, the Kapamilya news program earned a total of 1.6 million views while ’24 Oras’ earned 1.3 million views.
