Trina Candaza denied that she was the third party in Carlo Aquino and Angelica Panganiban’s past relationship through a Facebook comment on Monday, January 31.
Candaza and Aquino’s relationship is reportedly on the rocks following her cryptic social media post about a “cheating” partner.
One netizen commented that Candaza is facing her karma for allegedly dating Aquino while still in a relationship with Panganiban.
A netizen said,“Karma is a bitch talaga. Ayos lang yan! Pumatol ka nga kay Carlo noon nung sila pa ni Angelica eh mas masakit talaga pag binalikan ka ng karma doble yung sakit. Worst is, may anak na kayo.”
Candaza explained that she kept her silence during that time, and she didn’t steal anyone from a relationship.
Candaza responded, “Huh? Hindi naman sila nagkabalikan, sakin nag commit tas ang labas ako pa ang nang agaw. I kept quiet that time para kay Carlo, pero wala akong inagaw.”
On Saturday, January 29, Candaza shared that she and her daughter, Enola Mithi, have already moved to a new home. She did not mention Aquino in the video.
On Friday, January 28, Candaza talked about knowing your worth to your partner based on his actions through her Facebook page Friday.
“You will really know your worth to your partner if ano magiging actions niya ‘pag wala ka na sa kanya. Kung may pinupuntahan na agad na babae…Wag na kayo umasang [magbabago] pa ‘yung jowa niyo na sakit sa ulo, hindi na [‘yan magbabago],” she said.
She also reposted a Tiktok video on that same day which talked about a woman who forgave her partner many times.
“She wasn’t toxic. You drained everything out of that woman. You hurt that woman. You lied to her and continued to hurt her and made her question her worth, then you expect her to be the same person she was in the beginning?” a part of the video goes.
On, Thursday, January 20, the couple sparked breakup rumors after unfollowing each other on Instagram.
Aquino revealed in an interview in 2021 that he met Candaza at a car show at the World Trade Center in Pasay City. In 2018, his relationship with Candaza stirred some controversy because he had just reunited in Exes Baggage’s project with his ex-girlfriend Angelica Panganiban.
Aquino and Panganiban were known as teenage sweethearts, on-screen and off-screen. They were called as CarGel by fans. They dated for six years and broke up in 2006. The two reunited in the movie Exes Baggage, which premiered in September 2018. They also starred together in the TV series Playhouse, which aired from September 2018 to March 2019. The actor also admitted that he dated Maja Salvador before.
