ABS-CBN’s new series, The Broken Marriage Vow established its position in the rating chart during its pilot week.
On January 24, for its pilot, the Connie Macatuno-helmed series earned a 6.5% rating, tied with GMA network’s Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune in the 6th-7th ranking.
The following day it surpassed Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune and ranked 6th with a 7.0% rating.
On January 26, the newest Kapamilya series’ rating continued to climb up, earning a 7.3% rating but remained in the same rank.
It climbed again in the fifth-sixth rankings the next day. It is tied with the GMA network’s Little Princess with a 7.4% rating.
However, the first week of The Broken Marriage Vow ended with a rating of 6.3%, ranking 7th.
Despite this, the series is still improving compared to its predecessor, Marry Me, Marry You that most of the time earned around 5% in ratings, ranking beyond 10th place.
The Kapamilya series faces the GMA network’s Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune in the 8:40 pm time slot. During its pilot week (Monday to Thursday)–The Broken Marriage Vow surpassed its rival.
The data reflected the potential of The Broken Marriage Vow on free TV. Considering ABS-CBN’s limited reach, it is already a big thing once a Kapamilya program joins the Most-Watched programs list of AGB Nielsen.
The Jodi Sta. Maria-starrer series is the local adaptation of the British hit series Doctor Foster. It also stars Zanjoe Marudo, Zaijan Jaranilla, and Sue Ramirez.
