A security guard mistook Star for All Seasons and Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto for Vice President and presidential aspirant Leni Robredo.
In the vlog of Santos-Recto dated February 13, she was doing a “Bad Romance” challenge with random people.
When she stumbled upon the security guard, the Governor asked, “Kuya, good afternoon! Kuya, kilala mo ako?”
At first, the guard was uncertain since Santos-Recto was wearing a sunglass, a cap, and a facemask. When she slightly removed her mask, the unknowing victim, initially thought she was the Vice President of the Philippines.
“Ma’am Leni?” he answered.
This made the Governor laugh as she responded, “Si Ma’am Leni daw?! Si Ate Vi kilala mo? Si Star for All Seasons?”
The guard’s next inquiry was, “Sa Channel 7 (GMA Network)?” making Santos-Recto chuckle.
He also did not believe that he was talking to the one-and-only Star for All Seasons.
When she removed everything that concealed her face, the guard finally confirmed that he was conversing with Vilma Santos. He then complimented her by saying, “Ang ganda nyo pa rin po pala ma’am!”

Apart from being mistaken as VP Leni, Santos-Recto was also mistaken as Megastar Sharon Cuneta.
In the upcoming elections she and her husband Sen. Ralph G. Recto is endorsing Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso as their President.
In an interview back in September 2021, the Senator confirmed that they will be supporting the Mayor and his running-mate Dr. Willy Ong.
“Yes, Vilma and I, including [our] supporters in Batangas and coordinators nationwide are supporting Mayor Isko and Dr. Willy Ong for president and Vice President, respectively,” Recto shared.
He added, “Mayor Isko has the training, skills, experience and leadership to be an outstanding president. He has shown this as mayor of Manila most especially during this pandemic. He is young, energetic, and implements his programs quickly. In ‘Bilis kilos’ fashion.”
Santos-Recto and her husband were former political members of Robredo. They supported her in 2016 during her vice-presidential bid.
