SB19’s song Bazinga defeated BTS’ Butter as it is recorded as the longest-running no. 1 hit in the history of one Billboard chart.
On the chart dated Saturday, January 29, the Filipino group ranked number one, followed by BTS’ Butter. Bazinga spent seven weeks on the number one spot on the Hot Trending Songs chart, Billboard’s weekly look at the 20 most popular songs on Twitter. This makes Butter the second-longest-running champion.
SB19 announced the news through a tweet on Tuesday, January 25.
“‘Bazinga’ is on a record-breaking 7th week at No. 1,” their caption read.
