Seasoned actress Rita Avila on February 3, shared her message to Filipino voters in the upcoming 2022 election.
On Instagram, Avila shared a screenshot of her husband’s, Director F.M. Reyes’s post about lying.
She captioned it, “Pilipino #dikatanga Angat Pilipino! Alam mo ang tama at mali.”

Reyes’ post reads: “I have trust issues with people who got lying issues. You don’t lie to protect the other person. You lie to protect yourself from the consequences. You lie because you don’t want to deal with your own feelings. One lie may be a mistake, but 2 [two] and more makes it deliberate. You can’t constantly lie and expect people to trust you. The worst thing about being lied to is knowing you weren’t worth the truth.”

Avila also posted the same screenshot on her facebook account with a different caption, urging Filipinos to be smarter this coming 2022 elections.
“Pilipino #dikatanga Gising. May isip at puso ka. Alam mo ang tama at mali.
“Angat Pilipino. May halaga ka.”
She also reminded Filipinos to know their worth and not to settle when being lied to by politicians.
Her other facebook posts also reminded Pinoy voters to carefully select the candidate they want to support when they cast their ballots in May.
She even shared a checklist from a news website on what voters should ask themselves before the 2022 elections.
Earlier, Avila trended on social media after she called out a netizen who commented on one of her posts. She urged the said netizen to stop reading fake news to prevent receiving harsh comments from others saying ‘tanga.’
Her lengthy response on her facebook post earned her the monicker, “savage bestfriend.”
