Janine Gutierrez made the rounds online after netizens noticed that the actress no longer follows Julie Anne San Jose on Instagram.
In Gutierrez’s Instagram account, San Jose is no longer a part of her following list, but the latter is still following the former.
Netizens do not know the exact date when Janine decided to unfollow Julie Ann, but they speculated that it has something to do with San Jose and Rayver Cruz’s closeness.
Cruz is the ex-boyfriend of Gutierrez. They were together for about four years before they called it quits’ in November 2021.
In an interview on July 19, 2021, San Jose mentioned that she and Cruz have always been close. She considers the actor as a person she can count on to.
When asked about the chance of having a more-special-than-friendship relationship with the male Kapuso star in the future, Julie Anne said that only God knows the answer.
“Masaya naman maging masaya. Si Lord ang nakakaalam ng lahat. We’ll see.
“Best friends talaga kami nyan ever since. We’re very good friends for a very long time na. Isa talaga siya sa mga taong nakakaintindi sa akin.”
On February 17, PEP reported that San Jose and Cruz are not in a relationship despite the rumors.
