On January 25, 2022, three months after their wedding day, the couple was rumored to have separated when netizens have observed that the two unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Netizens also noticed Rodriguez’s cryptic post on his Instagram account. He posted a video with a black background featuring a written text: “. float”
The video contains spiels from the Japanese anime sci-fi series titled Cowboy Bebop.
“And now you’re leaving just like that. Why do you have to go? Why are you leaving? What are you gonna do?! Just throw away your life like it was nothing?!” Faye, a character from the series, asked.
“I’m not going there to die. I’m going to find out if I’m really alive,” Spike, the lead character, answered.
After seven years of being in a relationship, the two Kapuso stars tied the knot on October 23, 2021.
The two have not yet disclosed any statement regarding their rumored break-up.
