On Monday, February 21, former Kapamilya star Matteo Guidicelli revealed that the thing worth “risking it all” was marrying his wife.
“Mine was, you know, our story, it was a risk, and it was all worth it, kumbaga. It’s only two years that we’re married,” he said during the virtual media conference for life insurance company SunLife.
His relationship with Geronimo’s family was “bumpy.”
It can be recalled that during their secret wedding, his wife’s mom, Mommy Divine caused a scene on a supposed solemn occasion.
“Traydor kayo!” relayed the couple’s relationship counselor, Letty Fuentes in an interview back in February 2020.
The mother and daughter may have reconciled given that Geronimo, in 2021, showed support to her mother’s farm products.
The turmoil was over as Guidicelli is now enjoying a happy married life. He also wishes to spend a lifetime with his wife.
“I’m praying for a life-long journey with my wife, and ups and downs with her, good and bad also. It’s a risk that’s certainly worth it and something that I would like to conquer for the rest of my life, parang a partnership forever.”
Apart from his married life, he is also having a fruitful venture.
“We started working from home and all. Actually, things have opened up with our partnership with Viva. The wife and I—we put our own production company together, we’re opening up a studio together. So things are pivoting and opportunities are rising kumbaga. So these are all business risks that hopefully will prosper in the future,” he shared.
Guidicelli appeared in the virtual press conference for SunLife’s “Partner in Health” campaign as one of the ambassadors along with seasoned actress Ms. Charo Santos-Concio and Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual.
The campaign is launched to stress the insurance company’s commitment to providing Filipinos a companion amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
