Ogie Diaz claimed that Vivian Velez is spreading fake news online after the actress criticized VP Leni Robredo’s presidential interview with Boy Abunda.
In a facebook post on January 27, Velez seemingly made fun of Robredo’s answer when asked whether the Philippines is a narco-state or not.
“Namamangha si Boy Abunda! Meron pa bang pag-asa si Leni?” said Velez.
On January 29, the actress then noted that Robredo was not able to answer Tito Boy’s question to her. She also said that Robredo does not have enough knowledge to lead the country.
“If we try to analyze Leni’s answer to Boy’s question, WHY, did she answer it? She didn’t know the meaning of “a narco state”?
“I don’t care if people bash me for my opinions. Di ko isasalalay ang bayan ko sa mga BOBO. Does Leni really have what it takes to be president? Dapat nage-excel ka kahit sa simpleng tanong,” said Velez.
In a tweet on January 29, Ogie Diaz noted that Velez is known for spreading fake news online.
Noon pa naman fake news si Vivian Velez. Pag ayaw niya sa yo, ayaw niya sa yo. Kaya sorry, VP Leni. You cannot please her. Try harder.👩🎤 https://t.co/M58ozgt9oN
