On Friday, February 4, Vice President and presidential aspirant Leni Robredo’s efforts to still attend a presidential forum despite a conflict in schedule earned respect from celebrities.
During the presidential discussion held by Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP), Robredo was on her way to visit the Odette-affected areas.
She had to borrow an office at the airport and struggled with an Internet connection.
Marry Me, Marry You star Jake Ejercito appreciated the VP’s commitment to attend the program.

Twitter personality Arshie Larga was surprised to know that Robredo, despite being busy, was able to grace the presidential forum.
May ibang schedule din pala si Madam for today pero naipasok pa rin nya sa sched nya ang #KBPForum. Sanaol po🎀💗

Social media personality Kerwin King even said that Robredo really embodied the phrase, “Kapag gusto, maraming paraan.”
He also took the opportunity to throw some shade at Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos for not showing up in the forum.
Kapag gusto talaga, maraming paraan. Yung isa, puro dahilan. ☺️ https://t.co/nlJONnPQd4

Theater actor Reb Atadero also ridiculed Marcos for gracing the magazine show of Korina Sanchez rather than having a healthy discussion with other presidential bets.
Yung iba, discussing policies and economics.
Yung isa, doing kitchenomics.— Reb Atadero (@rebranger) February 4, 2022
A twitter personality even shared a meme representing Marcos during the presidential discussion.

Former House Representative Walden Bello also roasted Marcos by pointing out that the latter would rather “cook” than be “cooked” by other presidential aspirants.

Filmmaker Nuel Naval stressed that Robredo [really] deserves his vote because of her “no excuses” mentality.
Pag gusto, may paraan. Kahit unstable ang internet connection kinaya mag participate. No excuses! Yan ang Pangulo ko! #LeniAngatSaLahat pic.twitter.com/3rbBfPBBFL

Meanwhile, film director Noel Escondo had to remind Robredo’s camp to ensure that the VP must have a stable Internet connection for her to be able to attend upcoming interviews.
Sa team ni mam Leni na kasama nya ngayon, responsibilidad nyo to make sure na stable ang internet ng lugar kung nasaan siya especially scheduled interview ito hindi naman biglaan. Be better! Wag nyo nang uulitin ito!

In the meantime, musician Jim Paredes assured the public that Robredo has the knowledge to back up what she says.

Even Kris Aquino was stunned by how straightforward Robredo is with her answers. She then insisted that the aspirant was on point to educate the voters regarding political dynasties, political party reform, and “turncoatism.”
Very straight forward and concrete answers from Vice President @lenirobredo on political dynasty, political party reform, turncoatism. Iyan ang kailangang maintindihan ng mga botante.

Singer and theater actress Bituin Escalante also appreciated the VP taking responsibility for the Government’s actions.
“We will do better next time.”
No finger pointing and assigning blame.
Full accountability.
