Netizens on Thursday, February 3, are comparing the campaign videos of Angelica Panganiban and Juliana Pariscova Segovia, but the latter received the beating.
Both of the clips encourage voters of the upcoming election to be wary of politicians, although the one with Segovia’s was a parody of Panganiban’s video.
In Segovia’s video, she pointed out that those involved in politics tend to victimize and disguise themselves as “saints.”
“Hahaha! Walang taong gany’an. Hello? Baka nga wala ring original sin ‘yan bago binyagan.
Ingat sa mga pa-victim,” said Segovia in the video uploaded by Vincentement.
Panganiban forwarned voters not to choose those with corruption records; and was uploaded by a non-profit organization, Young Public Servants.
“I’ve learned my lesson.
“‘Wag magpapabudol at ‘wag sa magnanakaw,” said the actress.
However, not everyone understood the satire of Segovia’s video.

Some even criticized Segovia for looking like Rep. Claudine Bautista who filed a P1 billion cyber libel suit against Kapamilya actor Enchong Dee.

However, not everyone misunderstood the message of each of the videos: that they were both throwing shades at presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Others were confused as to why Segovia is being hated when both the comedian and the actress were trying to send the same message: be critical and discerning this coming election.

A netizen even explained that Segovia’s video was merely a parody of Panganiban’s. Since Leni Robredo’s camp accused Marcos of being a “pa-victim”–it led to criticism.

Panganiban was a former Duterte supporter and has yet to reveal her supported presidential candidate. Meanwhile, Segovia is a certified “Kakampink” or supporter of Robredo.
