Child star Xyriel Manabat has blossomed into a fine lady, and on February 11, Friday, she crossed out an item on her bucket list: have piercings on her chest.
“Achieving my ‘naudlot’ December 2021 bucket list,” wrote Manabat on her Instagram as she posted a series of photos during and after the piercing process.
She then added, “Thank u so much @da.tattoo sa pagtiyaga sa bunganga ko. Love ko kayo!”

A chest piercing is defined as, “A chest or sternum piercing is a type of surface piercing that’s located on any point along the sternum (breastbone). Although sternum piercings are often placed vertically between the breasts, they may also be done horizontally.”
Manabat started her acting career in 2009 after placing third runner-up in the kiddie talent competition Star Circle Quest: Search for the Next Kiddie Idol.
She was known for her role as the young Agua Bendita in the 2010 series of the same title. The former child star then immediately landed a titular role in the teleserye Momay in the same year.
In 2012, she won both Best Child Performer and Best Drama Actress in the 26th PMPC Star Awards for TV for her role in 100 Days to Heaven.
The former child star also earned Child Star of the Year in Yahoo! OMG! Awards 2012.
Her last project was in Maja Salvador’s Wildflower series back in 2017 where she played the role of young Ivy Aguas.
Manabat finished high school in 2020 but was not keen on getting back into acting.
In an interview, she shared, “Hindi ko pa po alam kasi as of now po, sobrang focused po ako sa personal life and sa school ko.
“So mahirap pong gumanap sa isang role na hindi po ako fully committed. Siyempre baka hindi ko po mabigyan ng justice ‘yung role. So du’n po tayo ‘pag nandun na lahat focus ko and lahat ng determination ko nandu’n na po sa show na ‘yun.”
