Director Mac Alejandre shared on Friday, January 28, that he gave actor Paolo Gumabao the freedom to choose whether to do a very intriguing scene in the sexy-drama movie Silip Sa Apoy.
“By telling him the truth, by not obligating him to do it,” said the director during the film’s virtual media conference.
He was referring to the scene where Gumabao was peeping at Angeli Khang while rubbing his body against the wall.
Alejandre stressed that if the young actor refuses to do the scene, he will have a double do it.
Anong gagawin mo?’
By being truthful, the director convinced the actor to do the scene.
Sabi niya, ‘H’wag tayong mag-double.'”
Silip Sa Apoy is about an unhappy housewife who falls in love with her neighbor, with the affair only leading to something more sinister.
The movie also stars Sid Lucero and Jela Cuenca and is now available for streaming on Vivamax.
