Dawn Chang’s demand for Cristy Fermin to apologize got ridicule from the latter and her entertainment writer-friend, Lolit Solis, on Tuesday, February 15.
The two, during an episode of their show, Take it… Per Minute, Me Ganun?! tackled the issue originating from Fermin’s claim that Chang was seducing the bigwigs of ABS-CBN to secure her status as an artist.
The ‘word war’ occurred after the Kapamilya talent criticized Toni Gonzaga’s support for Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Solis sided with her co-host, stressing that the Kapamilya talent has no right to demand an apology from Fermin since she is still a newbie in the industry.
“Kapapasok mo palang sa mundong ito, lahat muna tanggapin mo ng constructive. Halimbawa, sinulat ni Cristy ang tingin sa ‘yo ganito, ganyan. Eh ‘di ‘Ay baka nga ganito kasi sa kilos ko, ganito tingin sa akin kailangan baguhin ko.’ Mabuti nga, suwerte siya pinagtuunan siya ng pansin ni Cristy Fermin,” said Solis.
She added, “Kung baguhan ako at isinulat ako ni Cristy Fermin, maligaya na ako no’n at hindi ko babanggitin ang name niya ‘no!”
Solis was also appalled by the “audacity” of Chang.
“At saka the nerve, baguhan ka magde-demand ka sa akin ng apology? The who!? Sino ka?” she sneered.
Fermin insisted that there was no point in taking the matter to court since the young artist was only after a public apology.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN artist Chienna Filomeno tweeted, and the fans believed to be hitting Chang.

The two have not been on good terms ever since they were members of GirlTrends.
The rift between Chang and Filomeno continued even after the former left the group.
