Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, on Wednesday, February 23, finally revealed what is in store for the Kapamilya talent arm’s 30th year in the industry.
Before laying out the plans, he thanked Freddie M. Garcia, Johnny “Mr. M” Manahan, and Mariole Alberto for making the talent agency reach unbelievable heights.
“Alam niyo namang madaming dinaanan ang Star Magic, 30 years. We would like to thank the men and women who really started Star Magic, to FMG, to Mr. M, to Ms. Mariole, maraming salamat for laying the foundation and for building a Star Magic,” he said during the Kapamilya Strong contract signing.
Dyogi added, “But this time, we’re venturing into a new era of Star Magic.”
Through a visual presentation, the Kapamilya executive started by announcing that ABS-CBN has an upcoming collaboration with Mavix Productions, Star Cinema, and Regal Entertainment to provide quality content featuring the most-sought actors.
Its lifestyle channel Metro will be gathering the biggest style stars in one powerful anniversary cover while magazine Mega will celebrate Pride Month with a blast.
There will also be global concerts and red carpet fashion events to watch out for.
In terms of digital entertainment, the Kapamilya Network boasted more original YouTube content such as Star Magic Likes: Bikes, Hello World, and Parent Experiment.
It also marks the Star Magic Olympics and Star Magic Ball. Dyogi also promised to provide more concerts, musical performances, and magical events.
As part of the celebration, Star Magic will be launching a fund-raising campaign called, Tulung-Tulong sa Pag-ahon to help the victims of Typhoon Odette.
Dyogi also shared that there will be more in store for Kapamilyas in years to come and it is just the tip of the iceberg, per se.
“In the 30 years and the 30 years to come, marami po kaming hinanda to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Star Magic.”
