Kyline Alcantara admitted that she previously thought Mavy Legaspi would be boastful because of his celebrity family.
Mavy is the son of Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi.
Alcantara and Legaspi were among the latest loveteams that GMA’s Sparkle introduced.
In Sparkle’s Loveteam virtual media conference on February 16, she said she didn’t expect the young Legaspi’s personality would be contrary to her prior impression. Mavy is humble and kind.
“I got a little intimidated with Mavy kasi napapanood ko po siya since bata pa siya. Siyempre royal blood siya at nakatrabaho ko na rin po si Tita Mina.
“Akala ko medyo mayabang siya, akala ko nasa utak niya ‘yung pagiging royal blood niya. Pero eventually napakita naman po niya that he’s really a humble person, respectful and ito ‘yung pinakamhalaga, sobra ‘yung patience niya sa lahat ng tao especially to me,” Alcantara said.
When asked about Mavy’s personality that she likes, she pointed to Legaspi’s respectfulness.
“Sobrang respectful niya sa magulang ko. ‘Yun po talaga ang importante sa akin na ang guy nirerespeto ‘yung magulang ko at pinapahalagahan ‘yung mga boundaries nila. Second, the fact that he’s always there. Sa bawat phases ng aking napaka complicated na journey.”
Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi recently starred in the Kapuso series I Left My Heart in Sorsogon along with Heart Evangelista, Paolo Contis, and Richard Yap.
