On February 8, Kapamilya artist Kit Thompson confirmed that he would be spending his February 14 at work.
During the media conference for Maalaala Mo Kaya February 2022 Episodes, Thompson admitted that he prefers to have money on Valentine’s Day.
“Sobrang special din ng Valentine’s day ko this year dahil nasa trabaho ako. Sabi ko naman pwede naman tayong mag-Valentine’s araw-araw basta may pang-gastos ako. Kasi kung wala akong pang-gastos, wala tayong pang Valentine’s.”
He then noted that his love language focuses on spending quality time with his special someone.
“Ako din quality time, kasi sobrang importante ng time sa akin. I’m always so busy so magbibigay talaga ako ng oras to the people I love. That’s important to me, I don’t like wasting that.”
Tracking back his dating history, Thompson had romantic involvements with fellow Pinoy Big Brother ex-housemates Myrtle Sarosa and Karen Reyes in 2012.
Coincidentally, Thompson also courted his MMK co-star Jane Oineza in 2013.
His most recent relationship is with the model and newbie artist Ana Jalandoni.

As for their Maalaala Mo Kaya episode, Thompson and Oineza star in one of the Kapamilya anthology series’ Valentine’s offering for February.
Directed by Jerome Pobocan, Thompson portrays John while Oineza portrays the role of Angel, and the two fall in love through the social media platform. However, their relationship encounters a roadblock that tests their commitment to each other.
