JC De Vera trended online as he denied that he is a Bongbong Marcos supporter through a facebook comment on Friday, February 11.
Netizens initially speculated that De Vera is a BBM supporter after posting pictures of him while making a “peace sign” on his facebook page.
The peace sign is usually used by Marcos during his campaign sorties and by his supporters.
The actor simply said “nope” in response to a netizen to end the assumptions about him.
On his facebook Story posted on Friday, February 11, De Vera revealed that Robredo is his presidential bet.
He shared a picture of Robredo with the caption, “She’s my PRESIDENT” and the sticker “LET LENI LEAD.”
Following his denial as a BBM supporter, De Vera’s name became a trending topic on twitter.
Many netizen’s aired their reactions online as De Vera supposedly “burned” BBM supporters.
