The two Kapamilya primetime programs posted huge live viewership on YouTube.
As events pick up in heat and intensity on FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano and The Broken Marriage Vow, attention also spiked up for both shows, which recorded impressive online viewership, last night, February 2.
In FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, a rescue mission pits Cardo Dalisay’s group, Task Force Agila, against Don Ignacio’s (Tommy Abuel) men, who kept Armando’s (John Estrada) people hostage. Dalisay and his men teamed up with Armando and Mara (Julia Montes) to retrieve the latter’s fellow farmers. The mission is supposed to prove Dalisay’s allegiance to Armando, who welcomed the former’s group members to their fold.
Last night, February 2, concurrent live viewers for FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano surged past 165,000 on YouTube via Kapamilya Online Live. This figure nearly broke the show’s previous milestone when its concurrent viewership got recorded at 171,000 for its November 15, 2021 episode.
This feat comes on the heels of the show’s successful return as the most-watched TV series in the country on February 1, when its AGB NUTAM rating was recorded at 11.8%, beating I Left My Heart in Sorsogon’s 11.3%.

The Broken Marriage Vow, which just set its highest rating to date on AGB Nielsen’s scorecard, also kept its winning streak on the platform. The show’s concurrent live viewers began to fluctuate at 126,000 after continuously falling from FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s 165,000. It broke its previous record during its pilot episode on January 24.
Like FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, The Broken Marriage Vow is gathering unprecedented attention for the heated confrontations and developments on the show. Viewers are thrilled and pushed upon the edge of their seats, as Jodi Sta. Maria’s character, Dr. Jill Ilustre, finally discovered her husband’s betrayal. During last night’s episode, Dr. Jill found out who David’s (Zanjoe Marudo) other woman was.
This revelation will prompt Dr. Jill’s future vengeful actions in motion. It thereby makes the events in the show much more intense. Would the Filipino adaptation pay 100% reverence to its original British and South Korean versions? That is a question.
