FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remains unshakeable despite numerous Kapuso drama series pitted on it.
On Monday, February 14, Kapuso introduced FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s latest rival, First Lady, the sequel to the highly successful First Yaya.
As expected, given the unbalanced competition, First Lady conveniently beats Ang Probinsyano on its pilot episode.
First Lady scored 14.4% leading the Kapamilya longest-running teleserye with 4.3% at 10.1%
On Tuesday, February 15, and Wednesday, February 16, First Lady continues to increase its lead at 4.2% (14.8% vs. 10.6%) and 5.1% (15.5% vs. 10.4%), respectively.
But the lead was cut down to 2.4% on Thursday, February 17 as FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano registered a rating of 11% while First Lady dipped to 13.4%.
The Coco Martin-led series also drew strength from its good online following. The Kapamilya teleserye continues to attract huge online viewers averaging 129 thousand concurrent views.
FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano is indeed immortal as, after almost 20 drama series pitted by the rival network, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano remained strong and steady in its position despite its limited reach.
