Good news: You don’t have to go all the way to Baguio to enjoy plump, red strawberries and strawberry picking! A two hour-ride from Metro Manila is all you’ll need to get to Queens Strawberry Farm, a new B&B and events place in Cavite, which has its own strawberry farm.
Queens Strawberry Farm offers all-day breakfast, plates of pasta, and main dishes, which of course, includes the quintessential Tagaytay favorite: bulalo. The strawberries harvested from the farm are used for their desserts and drinks: there’s Strawberry Cheesecake (P200/slice), Barako Coffee Jelly (P120/cup), Strawberry Chocolate Mousse (P190/cup), and the Strawberry Milkshake (P150) on the menu.
The interiors of the restaurant are reminiscent of cabin houses but more modern. They use wood for their furniture, wall decor, and light fixtures, which all stand out against its white walls. The restaurant even has walls dedicated just for photo ops!
Queens Strawberry Farm will soon offer strawberry picking services for its customers. They will also offer fishing, too. If you’re looking to do more than just enjoy a meal for a weekend getaway, this is the place to go to.
Queens Strawberry Farm is located at Hawilian 2 Barangay Upli, Alfonso, Cavite. They are open from Mondays to Sundays, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
