At the media conference for their upcoming iWantTFC series, The Goodbye Girl on February 4, Kapamilya star Elisse Joson admitted that she and McCoy De Leon are taking their time before tying the knot.
Joson said she and De Leon had several things to deal with at the moment.
“Yes 26, but sabi nga ni Josh, hindi natin dapat minamadali ang mga bagay-bagay. Everybody has a different timeline, and ngayon nga it just happens na mas nauna si Felize.
“So I think we have so much things to deal with first. Baptism ni Felize, hindi pa namin syempre, inaayos pa lang ngayon because of the pandemic and the situation. Birthday pa niya, I mean we’re going to get there.”
However, she clarified that they both know they are for each other.
“And alam naman na namin na we’re for each other already. So we just have to take our time. It’s going to happen.”
She then shared her dream wedding, hinting at a beach wedding.
“Dream wedding ko naman, I feel like, iniisip ng iba, I want something bongga, or malaking wedding. Actually no, I just want a simple wedding. Ang dream ko lang talaga, sa may dagat. Pero at the same time, I want to be blessed by the church.”
In June 2021, De Leon and Joson confirmed that they rekindled their romantic relationship after breaking up in 2018.
Then in November 2021, Joson and De Leon shared the news about their baby girl, Felize.
Joson stars in the Legally Blind episode of iWantTFC’s The Goodbye Girl with the Kapamilya actor Joshua Colet.
Based on Noreen Capili’s best selling book, The Goodbye Girl also stars Kapamilya actors Angelica Panganiban, JC De Vera, and RK Bagatsing.
Apart from the main cast, the six-episode series also includes Loisa Andalio, Barbie Imperial, Maris Racal, Rico Blanco, Turs Daza, and Ronnie Alonte.
The digital series directed by Derick Cabrido streams on the iWantTFC app from February 14 to 19.
