Ex-PBB housemate Dionne Monsanto made the rounds online after seemingly throwing shade at Toni Gonzaga’s statement about stepping down as a PBB host.
After 16 years of being PBB’s main host, Gonzaga officially bid farewell on February 9, 2022.
She thanked her PBB family for their long years together in her statement.
“It has been my privilege to greet you all with ‘Hello Philippines and ‘Hello World’ for the last 16 years. I will forever cherish the memories, big nights, and moments in my heart. Thank you, Kuya, for everything,”
She ended her statement by saying, “This is your angel, now signing off.”
On the same date, Dionne Monsanto tweeted something that netizens assumed was her reaction to Gonzaga’s statement.
The ex-PBB housemate emphasized the word “angel” while letting out a laugh.
“’Angel’??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA,” said Monsanto.

Some netizens were amused by Monsanto’s reaction, while some defended Gonzaga.
Meanwhile, Toni Gonzaga received backlash from netizens and her fellow Kapamilyas after hosting BBM’s proclamation rally.
She then trimmed down her Instagram following to only a few accounts. She unfollowed accounts of several ABS-CBN artists and bosses, including Charo Santos-Concio and her Pinoy Big Brother co-host Bianca Gonzalez.
