In the Cristy Ferminute program streamed on Monday, February 14, Cristy Fermin defended Toni Gonzaga from allegations claiming that she received P120 million for supporting presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr (BBM).
Gonzaga hosted the proclamation rally of presidential aspirant Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his running partner Sara Duterte held on Tuesday, February 8, at the Philippine Arena.
According to some claims–Gonzaga received P120M for her hosting and sponsorships.
Fermin explained that these claims are made-up and have no basis.
Fermin added that Gonzaga’s husband, Direk Paul Soriano, is Marcos related. Soriano is a nephew of Atty. Liza Marcos. She also said that a P120M talent fee is not believable.
Liza Marcos. Ako naman, hindi ko rin pinaniniwalaan ‘yung P120M,” said the entertainment columnist.
Several Kapamilya employees and netizens expressed their dismay toward Gonzaga following her hosting of the Marcos-Duterte proclamation.
Gonzaga confirmed that she left Pinoy Big Brother through an Instagram post on Wednesday, February 9.
