Riverside International Film Festival Best Actor awardee Carlos Dala on Wednesday, February 8, stressed that he wants “Daddy Blake” to be accountable for what he has done.
Dala is part of the upcoming Boy’s Love (BL) movie Finding Daddy Blake which will be produced by Marc Cubales through his production company MC Production House.
In the presscon/birthday celebration of Cubales he said, “At least they need to take accountability because they know better. Usually kasi sila yung mga matatanda, or have money.
“Tapos parang they know na that they can exploit these kids who don’t have much money. So parang because they have these coercive ways to get what they want. Parang in a way, parang meron din silang fault do’n.”
“Daddy Blake” was responsible for traumatizing a number of celebrities, athletes, and college students after making them believe that they could simply earn a hefty sum of money just by recording themselves while masturbating. Unfortunately, after getting what he wanted, he was never heard by his victims, and up until now, his real identity is still unknown.
Meanwhile, Finding Daddy Blake is about two teenagers, Elijah and Kokoy, both victims of this infamous scammer. They hatched a plan to expose and exact revenge on the person who traumatized them. Along their journey, they also discovered falling in love with each other.
The movie is under the direction of award-winning director Jay Altarejos. It is led by esteemed actress Rita Avila, an award-winning cast in Dexter Doria, Gio Alvarez, Oliver Aquino, Dala, theater actor Jonathan Ivan Rivera, and a new generation of talents.
Finding Daddy Blake will also be an entry for both local and international movie festivals distributed through various global digital streaming platforms.
Cubales will also act in this movie.
