Beauty Gonzalez is set to star as the villainess in a series for the first time.
In the Chika Minute report by Nelson Canlas for 24 Oras on Sunday, February 6, Gonzalez shared her excitement for her new role.
“I’m so excited for them to see me in the show, na ibang Beauty naman ‘yung makikita nila,” she said.
“Gusto ko kasi ‘yung paiba-iba parati, ayoko nang pareho lang ‘yung flavors lahat.”
The actress didn’t mention further details about the new project.
Apart from it, she is also set to headline the upcoming movie After All directed by Adolfo Alix Jr. She will be paired with her first Kapuso leading man Kelvin Miranda.
Gonzalez and Miranda first worked together in the first installment of Stories from the Heart: Loving Miss Bridgette.
Her recent project was I Can See You: AlterNate with Primetime King Dingdong Dantes as her leading man.
She was an alumna of the popular reality television show Pinoy Big Brother in 2008 and placed fourth.
One of her known projects is the melodrama romance television series Pusong Ligaw in 2017. In this series, Beauty played the lead character of Teresa Magbanua-Laurel along with Bianca King. Her most iconic role was in the drama revenge romance television series Kadenang Ginto, where she played the secretary-turned-wife of a business tycoon played by Albert Martinez.
After staying in ABS-CBN for years, she is now under GMA. She signed the exclusive contract with the Network in June of 2021.
