Kapamilya actress and philanthropist Angel Locsin didn’t help but react to Marcos Jr’s viral transferable wound.
In a comment to ABS-CBN News’ Instagram post of Marcos Jr’s photo, Angel said the Marcos camp made a mistake in maintaining his wound.
“Mali po yung continuity ng sugat (shock eyes emoji)”

Continuity is a film-making term that means “the principle of making sure that all details in a film or TV show are consistent from shot to shot and from scene to scene. If a scene upholds the standards of continuity, each shot feels as though it seamlessly flows from the previous shot, reinforcing a sense of realism in the story,” according to marterclass.com.
In the case of Marcos Jr, it was his right hand that the supporter pulled during the caravan, but the wound they used as an excuse for not handshaking was on the left, thus their mistake in the continuity.
Marcos Jr was in a campaign caravan in Caloocan on Saturday, February 19, when he was caught on video snubbing one of his supporters who wanted to shake hands with him. The video quickly went viral on social media, warranting the Marcos camp to explain.
However, when they released the explanation with the photo, observant netizens noticed that the wound was not right compared to what was seen in the video.
Meanwhile, it was not only Angel who reacted to the obvious made-up damage control.
Several netizens and social media personalities also reacted to Marcos’ transferable wound.
Former IATF adviser Dr. Tony Leachon also pointed out the inconsistencies with the Marcos camp’s explanation.

Theatre actor Audi Gemora also shared his take with a comic strip showing the disparity of the photo against the incident.
